Research and writing has focused on the self-efficacy of women and their effectiveness as leaders when faced with gender-specific behaviors.  My research supported the premise that women with high self-efficacy are more effective leaders, even when faced with the gender-specific behaviors that are expected of them.  Lilly Teaching Conference presentations in 2013 and 2014 were based on this research.

Lilly Teaching Conference 2017 proposal discussed the importance of critical thinking as a key element in the learning process.
